Here’s how the Republicans maintained their majority.
Millions of voters headed to the polls on Nov 5. and elected Donald Trump the 47th President of the United States. They also cast votes in other critical races to determine which party would control each chamber of Congress, the results of which have a major impact on the incoming President’s ability to pass legislation and enact key elements of his agenda.
Republicans won the Senate and retained their narrow majority in the House, where all 435 seats were on the ballot.
