He's looking for support from voters 18-35 in the primaries

Sen. Marco Rubio is vying for support from younger voters in a new ad.

Released Tuesday, the ad features a host of America’s millennials concerned with their future—and all planning to vote for Rubio. The Republican presidential candidate is looking to win over voters ages 18 to 35 in the primaries.

To the Rubio campaign, millennials are frustrated with labels slapped on them by outsiders—like “demanding” and “self-absorbed.” Rubio, 44, hopes that younger voters are ready to support a candidate their own age in the upcoming title fight for the Republican nomination. As if the viewer had been waiting for her, one woman in the video asks, “Recognize us? We’re the one’s you’ve heard about.”

“Millennials,” another woman responds.
