The Texas Rangers are preparing to enter the playoffs after clinching the American League West on Sunday, and to celebrate, the franchise has decided to serve up some new menu items to their loyal fans during the team’s postseason run. And by new we mean, new and very different.

Globe Life Park will host at least one more home game for the Rangers this year, starting with Game 3 of the American League Division Series. Anyone who buys a ticket to this matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays will also have the option of dining on the “Sweet Spot Cotton Candy Dog,” an all-beef hot dog topped with cotton candy-infused mustard and cotton candy, according to Fox 4 News.

Delaware North Sportservice, the Rangers’ concessionaire, announced Monday that this hot dog creation will be one of a few new treats the ballpark will offer this October. Other notables include the “One-Pound Top-N-Go Cheetos,” a one-pound bag of Cheetos opened on its side and loaded with your choice of chili, taco meat, shredded chicken or brisket then topped with nacho cheese, and the “Elvis Jabberdog Brownie,” a two-foot-long brownie rolled in a Rice Krispy crust, dipped in funnel cake batter, fried and topped with whipped cream.

Postseason baseball is no time to count calories.
