Everest maintains its terrifying aura in a trailer for a new film about those who attempt to reach its summit starring a large cast that includes Jason Clarke, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin and Keira Knightley.

The film follows the famous 1996 disaster on the mountain. Jon Krakauer, who wrote the book Into Thin Air about those events, is played by Michael Kelly of House of Cards fame. Speaking at CinemaCon, director Baltasar Kormákur said, per The Hollywood Reporter, “We set out to make a film as authentic as possible,” and that authenticity is on display in the trailer. The film, according to Universal, was indeed shot in part “in Nepal on the foothills of Everest.”

The trailer ends with a note reading: “Please join Universal Pictures and the filmmakers of Everest in supporting earthquake relief in Nepal. Visit oxfamamerica.org to donate.”
